Welcome back teachers, students, and families!
This weekend we celebrated Labor Day, honoring the men and women who work hard to keep our country strong. Due to the holiday (and the resultant restaurant brunch schedule,) there will be a slight delivery schedule shift. I will deliver on Wednesday and Friday this week, instead of the usual Tuesday and Friday.
Please place orders by Monday night for delivery on Wednesday, and please order by Wednesday night for delivery on Friday. Thank you so very much!
Mushroom Noodle Soup! Made with homemade shiitake mushroom broth, sauteed crimini mushrooms, and GF brown rice pasta, of course! $7
Bento! Carrot-pepper kinpira sandwiched between rice patties, with colorful, farmer's market fruits and veggies. Delightful! $10
Creamy Spinach Dip! With roasted potatoes on the side. $10
Terrine of Late Summer Vegetables. Layers of brightly colored local veggies and cashew chevre. It is going to be so beautiful, I can hardly wait! (I'm a sucker for a pretty plate, what can I say!) $11
Greek Quinoa Salad! With kalamata olives, local cucumbers and heirloom tomatoes, in a lemon-parsley dressing. Over crisp romaine. $10
Thai Forbidden Rice Salad. With crunchy peppers and cashews, over tender greens. $11
Apple spice muffins! The early MacIntosh apples have been calling to me at the farmers' market. And now you get to enjoy them too, in muffin form! $9 half dozen, $16 dozen
A late summer frozen treat: Raw vegan almond-banana ice cream bites, dipped in chocolate. YUM! $8
As always, most ingredients are local and/or certified organic. I try to use local ingredients whenever I can!
Everything I make for you is vegan, healthy, and delicious! Because it is all vegan, it is naturally free of common allergens fish, shellfish, eggs, and dairy. I never use wheat or other gluten ingredients. I never use soy or peanuts. I DO use nuts and seeds in some recipes, but can leave them out of most if you prefer. If you have any kind of allergy or sensitivity, please let me know!
Please return the containers when you are finished with them. Reusing the containers helps keep the Earth clean, and it helps keep prices reasonable for all of us! Thank you!
Love and apples!
